Practice Education Committee (PEC)

  • Working to coordinate a systematic approach to student practice education by facilitating the development and implementation of strategies to expand BC’s capacity for practice education placements, improving planning and decision making, focusing on quality, strengthening management, and leveraging technology.

  • HAWG continues to exchange and share knowledge that supports infrastructure building in Health Authorities.

International Practice Education Forum (IntPE)

  • This committee discusses issues and possible areas for collaboration and knowledge exchange surrounding international practice experiences.

Preceptor Development Forum (Preceptor)

  • The Preceptor Development Forum is a working group that was created to address sustainability of an interprofessional preceptor development and support program for healthcare professionals across the province of BC.  The forum goals and areas of focus include: infrastructure and supports; information sharing and promotion of preceptor experiences; knowledge development and transfer; addressing issues and opportunities.
